Sigrow app version 3.8.17 is now available, with two new features, four improvements, and three bug fixes.

New: RTR Module

The app now includes an RTR (Radiation-Temperature Ratio) module. RTR shows the balance between how much light your crop receives and the temperature it grows at. When light is high relative to temperature, your crop tends to grow vegetatively. When temperature is high relative to light, it tends to grow generatively. The module plots each day as a point on a chart, so you can see at a glance how your climate is steering the crop over time.

This module is available upon request. To get access, email success@sigrow.com or reach out to your contact person at Sigrow.

New: Substrate Calibration Profiles

Soil Pro+ and Soil Mini devices now support substrate calibration profiles. You can select the profile that matches your growing medium — currently the default profile or a medium-texture Loam profile — and the device adjusts its water content readings accordingly. The profile is set per device directly from the Map page. More profiles will follow in future updates.

Navigation: Map Page → Device card → Calibration Profile

The selected profile applies from the next device reading onward. It does not recalculate past readings.

Improvements

  • Transpiration module parameters — transpiration and stomatal conductance — can now be saved to your Chart favorites. You no longer have to switch them on manually each time you open the chart.
  • Camera recognition data on the Table page now loads faster.
  • You can save and configure multiple heatmaps per location. Everyone with access to that location will see the saved heatmaps.
  • Your Location Central ID is now automatically added to any ticket you submit through the help widget, so our support team has the right context from the start.

Bug Fixes

  • CSV export no longer fails when a device has a data gap within the selected export period.
  • The Table page now displays correctly on mobile devices.
  • The Transpiration Module no longer shows 0 when camera points are used as the leaf temperature source.
