Air+ & Air Pro+ – Wireless Greenhouse Air Sensor

Measure CO₂, Temperature, Humidity and PAR Where Your Crop Grows

The ventilated, solar-powered air sensor that measures CO₂, air temperature, humidity and PAR right between the plants. Air Pro+ adds CO₂ at ±30 ppm, fully wireless. You place it in the crop, so it measures the air your plants actually grow in.

The Uniformity Reality

One Box, One Blind Spot

Most greenhouses steer climate and CO₂ dosing on a single measuring box near the climate computer. However, CO₂ and temperature are not uniform across the greenhouse. As a result, relying on one central reading leads to:

So the gaps show up in three ways:

Wasted CO₂

Dosed CO₂ that never reaches the far end of the crop.

Hidden Humidity

Pockets of wet air under the screen the central box never sees.

Calibrated Air Data. Zero Cables.

Calibrated air monitoring at ±0.3 °C and ±30 ppm CO₂, every 5 minutes, without the infrastructure complexity

Ventilated Shield

Active ventilation ensures the sensor reads the true air the plants experience. Sun cannot inflate the temperature reading.

Find Your CO₂ and Humidity Blind Spots

CO₂ and humidity vary across the greenhouse. Continuous air monitoring between the plants shows where dosed CO₂ falls short and where humidity builds up, so you can act before it costs yield.

How Air+ compares to other greenhouse air sensors

Air Pro+ is the only ventilated, solar-powered wireless greenhouse sensor that combines CO₂, air temperature, relative humidity and PAR light in a single device. Each unit measures CO₂ at ±30 ppm and air temperature at ±0.3 °C, runs on solar power with a 3+ year battery, and integrates with Priva, Hoogendoorn and Ridder via the Sigrow API.

Frequently Asked Questions

Both units share the same ventilated, solar-powered hardware and measure air temperature, relative humidity and PAR light at plant level. The difference is CO₂: Air Pro+ adds a CO₂ sensor accurate to ±30 ppm, while the standard Air+ does not. Choose Air Pro+ if you dose CO₂ or want to check CO₂ between the plants, and choose Air+ where temperature, humidity and light are enough.

Most greenhouse crops grow best at a CO₂ level between 800 and 1,200 ppm, well above the 400 ppm of outside air. Tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers respond strongly to CO₂ enrichment in this range. Above roughly 1,500 ppm the extra gain levels off and dosing simply costs money. Air Pro+ measures CO₂ at plant level to ±30 ppm, so you can see whether your dosing actually reaches the crop and hold the concentration where it pays off.

Place a CO₂ sensor between the plants, at crop height, in a spot that represents most of the greenhouse. Avoid the aisle, avoid the gable ends, and keep it away from the CO₂ injection point, where readings run artificially high. Because CO₂ is uneven across a greenhouse, one box near the climate computer rarely reflects the crop. Air+ and Air Pro+ are wireless and solar-powered, so you can hang several between the plants in minutes, with no cables and no electrician.

Yes. Air+ and Air Pro+ integrate with Priva, Hoogendoorn and Ridder through the Sigrow API, so your CO₂, temperature, humidity and PAR readings flow straight into the climate computer you already use. You can also follow the live data in the Sigrow app. There is no need to replace your existing system.

It depends on the size of your greenhouse and how uniform your climate is. Growers usually start with a grid of sensors to map CO₂, temperature, humidity and PAR across the greenhouse, then add more around problem areas such as gable ends and screen gaps. One Sigrow Central station supports up to 150 devices, so the system scales from a single compartment to a whole site.
